Hi there fellow adventurers! My name’s Olivia.
I have a game I play when I am backpacking: It is called “hot pack”. It is kinda like hot potato, but with backpacks. Really, it isn’t complicated. Hot Pack just involves convincing my friends to let me carry their backpacks, and I get them to carry mine in the mean time. I know, I’m a goofball! I haven’t ever met someone who wouldn’t trade packs with me for a couple hours, especially since I’m a stickler for lightweight packs and my pack is almost always lighter than anyone else’s. Anyway, I am a bit of an expert when it comes to reviewing backpacks. The outdoors is my passion. I left America about a two years ago after college and have been wandering the world’s wilderness ever since. I was born & raised in the Midwest, but for the 6 months my home base has been San Francisco. I try to get away from the states as much as possible. I am usually abroad most of the year. I am currently planning a trip to Asia and will be leaving soon. Traveling for me is an excuse to get outside as much as possible. I love to see the wilderness in other countries as well as their culture. This blog is me giving back. I have so much knowledge about backpacking, the outdoors and outdoors gear, and I would love to share it. I would also love to learn from you. :) My dream is that this can be a place for everyone to share their experiences with gear and with wandering. So please, share and share and share! Love, |
