  • Deuter backpacks are known for two things in my schema of the world: keeping air flowing around your back and being adjustable even if you are tall and German :) I did a short segment of the AT and didn’t have my own backpack with me, so I shared my brother’s Deuter Aircontact Lite. He is a couple inches taller than me, but it only took us a couple minutes to readjust the pack each time we switched off wearing it. The Deuter Aircontact Lite…doesn’t that just sound light and airy! It really is! This pack is a great buy for the money and I was very pleased with it’s performance.
