Deuter Futura Pro 42:
- The Germans make great cars, and now they make great backpacks too. The Deuter Futura Pro 42 is no exception. I really love Deuter, and the Deuter Futura Pro 42 is a joy to use. I think Deuter makes the best packs on the market in terms of keeping air flowing and your back dry while hiking. Like most of the packs I’ve reviewed, I don’t own this pack, but I actually did used to own it. I bought it half way through my first year of traveling when an airline lost my backpack. I only had the Deuter Futura Pro for a couple weeks before the airline found my backpack and returned it to me. I was a little dissapointed that I had to return the Futura Pro 42 back to the cute little German recreation store where I bought it! It is truly comfortable to wear and is a great pack for the price tag.
