Gregory Petit Dru Pack Review:
• I climbed my first 14er using the Gregory Petit Dru Pack. It is beautifully designed. It is almost elegant :) I used the Petit Dru on college trip to Colorado. We were in the backcountry for 10 days, so I needed a big pack that can handle a heavy load. We were also carrying some rock climbing gear, so during the first couple of days my load was about 70 lbs. I was really good at convincing my friends on the trip to eat the dinners out of my (shared) food bag, so it lightened up pretty quickly, but 70 lbs was doable and I was more than pleased with the Gregory Petit Dru’s performance under pressure. :)
